Christmas eve we found ourselves cleaning the house. It was a mess. We then feasted on munchies for dinner. We also put out our luminaries, as per tradition. 
The kids opened up their Christmas pj's.
Then we watched Disney's A Christmas Carol, and then A Christmas Story. Kurt and I ended up going to bed at 2:30 a.m. To our dismay the kids were up at 3:11 a.m. We told them they could look at their stockings and the things Santa brought them, but that was it until we got up.

They finally convinced us to get up at 5:45 a.m. We decided to get up and get it all over with before we went to church at 9 a.m. It was fun to watch Eli this year. He is growing up and starting to understand things. The boys got what they wished for- a Playstation 3. They also got church ties, fleece pullovers, bikes, pillow pets, and socks. Owen got a guitar, Isaac got air soft guns, Gavin got cap gun pistols, and Eli a Zhu Zhu pet. Kurt got me some leather knee high boots & a Kitchen Aid mixer, and I got him a Kindle Fire.
All the boys wanted to do over Christmas break was stay in their pj's all day. We told them, "Knock yourselves out." So they did. The only hitch we ran into was Christmas Day was on a Sunday, and we had to goto church. Owen said, "You said we could stay in our pj's all day." He was right, we did. He refused to take them off. We said do whatever. So Owen and Gavin both wore their pj's under their church clothes to Church. It was a battle not worth fighting. It was classic. Owen's pj bottoms were hanging out the bottom of his church pants, and you could see his Spongebob pajama motif if you looked closely at his shirt. Kurt and I both had to laugh.
Kurt sung in the choir and did a great job. Since all the boys were up at 3:11 a.m. they were all tired and all fell asleep and I was able to listen and enjoy the music program without interruption. With Kurt on the stand, this was one exception where I did let the boys sleep through Sacrament meeting.
After church we came home and I cooked a ham dinner (I guess it was more like lunch). After that we all crashed. Me, I crashed pretty much for the rest of the night. I was exhausted and didn't feel too well. What a nice day we had.
