Most kids will scream, run to you, and cling to you like there's no tomorrow. Gavin on the other hand makes 2 fists, puts them under his chin, scrunches up his shoulders, and does a shivering motion. It is the cutest thing EVER! He will often walk up to us and do his scared look. Everything seems to be scary to him, especially the episode of Spongebob Squarepants with Barnacle Boy. This one actually makes him scream while doing the fists under the chin motion.
The other day after Owen's birthday party he came running in the house making his scared sign. I just happened to have the camera on because I had just taken a picture of Owen and was able to capture this awesome picture. Once again, notice his sweet getup-he has nothing on except his diaper and his coat. I actually let him run around like that at the party.....the kid was being a messy eater, we had to strip him down.
Gavin picked this schweet scaredy cat sign up from good 'ol dad being sarcastic one day. One day Gavin was scared and Kurt was like, "Oh, are you scared!" all while making the scared motion with the two fists. It has stuck ever since.

Flower sack babies....of course I remember. Mrs. Hawkes wouldn't have been proud, and I'm sure we made at least one girl panick with frenzy.
