Happy Birthday KUrTie

Yesterday we celebrated Kurt's birthday. And a fine day it was!

Kurt had to work all day so I sent him off with his birthday card which contained his birthday present. Kurt loves basketball, and likes the UT, Jazz; so it was only appropriate that I get him tickets to a game. Not only did I get him tickets, but I got awesome seats! Section 8, row 29 to be exact. AND....being the thrifty bargain shopper that I am, I only paid 1/4 of the regular pre season price! It was perfect and in a price range we could afford. We normally are up in the nosebleeds because we can never afford the good seats. But not tonight baby! We are totally excited.

We invited Lisa and Cindy over to party with us. We started out with a gourmet dinner which consisted of grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup. Followed by the motherload-a triple decker, chocolate icing, chocolate chip covered chocolate cake! Served with chocolate ice cream of course. HEAVENLY!

After we stuffed our faces with cake and ice cream, we went outside and jumped on the trampoline in the rain. Then we played bye-bye birdie my cup. The boys were extra hyper all night long, so that was a super treat! To wind them down we watched the classic movie Rad, which Kurt got as a gift. We had a great night! Kurt said it was a great birthday.
