{Oh Christmas Tree}

It's a christmas miracle!  I finally got our tree decorated.  Just 12 days before christmas.  We put it up the day after Thanksgiving, but just got around to decorating it yesterday.

We finally got a new (used, but new to us) tree.  It is huge.  It's nine feet tall and is full and wide and pre lit (Oh yeah baby!  We're moving up in life).  It is a gorgeous tree.  I went and got a few new decorations at Tai Pan Trading.  I had Tai Pan Trading tree envy.  Ok, so I'm a Tai Pan Trading christmas tree wanna be.  There was so much more I wanted to buy, but refrained.

Because this tree is so much bigger than the one we used to have, I didn't have enough decorations to go all the way around the tree.  So only the front got decorated.  She's a little bare on her backside.  Did you know that you can learn how to decorate a christmas tree on YouTube?  Yep, you can.

This is my favorite tree yet.  Why?  Because after 14 years of marriage I've finally moved up from dollar store decorations to Target decorations to Tai Pan decorations.  Don't get me wrong.  I'm not above dollar store decorations.  This is my favorite tree because I've married all three phases of our financial past into this tree.  I still have my dollar store snowflakes and bulbs, my Target star and red curly sprigs, and now my Tai Pan large christmas balls, ribbons, and leafy sprigs.

Who knows, maybe one day you will see my tree adorned with gold plated ornaments encrusted with diamonds.........haha!  Actually you won't because I'm not a gold person, and I'm too frugal to spend money on something like that.  I think I'll stick with Tai Pan.  That's a good place to be.

I had a similar tree experience this year. I graduated from my moms left over decorations (Mauve and Navy bulbs SICK) to dollar store/hobby lobby!! I love my tree so much more this year!
