Lately.....
*We put in part of our back yard. Yeah! We call it phase one of three phases.
*Kurt has implemented a chore system with the boys. Nothing I've done seems to work for more than a month. We'll see how long Kurt's system holds up. It's been in motion for 1 week. So far Owen already has 3 strikes. Doesn't look like his system is jiving with Owen.
*Finn was evaluated to see what kind of therapy he will be needing and the therapist said that he is doing amazing. He did score low in his muscle tone and will be getting therapy to strengthen his neck muscles.
*I found out that Gavin held a girls hand at recess the other day. The same day I also found out that Isaac likes a girl in his class. This is big time because before girls were dumb. Looks like he's entering a new phase.
*I have been going to a nutrition class once a week to learn about food and to eat better. It is a great class. Now if I can just get motivated to exercise my results would be even better.
*I have am addicted to the facebook yardsale page for my city. I have sold so much stuff. It's awesome. No shipping anything, the people come to me. I broke out my bins of girl clothes that I have been collecting over the years and decided to sell them. I was going to give them away, but the thought of seeing a little girl I know wearing the clothes I've been collecting was too much. So I am slowly selling them.
*Finn met with his ENT and he has no fluid in his ears. Yay! I was told to keep him on oxygen. I found out that his sleep study showed him waking up 17 times a night and 26 times during his REM sleep. The average person wakes up 1 time during the night. He has another hearing test (ABR) on Thursday.
*I got released from my calling in Young Women's. With Kurt being the Young Men's president and having Finn and having the boys run rogue on mutual nights, this will be a nice change not to have to scramble and worry about the kids.
*The alternator in our Trooper went out. This car is getting old. It's paid off, but all these little things that keep breaking are starting to add up.

Oh I need you to share your information about the nutrition class with me:) oh boy I'm not ready for the holding hands phase, eek! Our trooper is a thorn in my side b/c of those same issues!! I sure miss and think of you often!! Give Finn a hug from me xoxo
haha court-you still have your trooper too. that's awesome!
Kanani- Where are you taking a nutrition class? That totally intrigues me. Shannon
Shannon-I take it at the
crossfit building off 126th and Bangerter (no, i don't do crossfit). It really is awesome. As an adult, you think you know everything there is to know about food. Na-uh! I am learning soooo much. And believe it or not, I am eating better than I ever have. I like it because she calculates how many proteins, fats, starches, fruits, veggies, & milk you should eat each day according to your weight, age & body fat. It is a 10 week class. I will ask her if she is doing another session after this one ends and let you know ;) They really should teach this stuff in school.
