Kurt's annual family reunion was held in Eden, UT. If you've never been, you must! It is a beautiful area. We rented a house for the long weekend. The house was awesome and huge. Half of the time it was like we never had the kids with us because they were either on the lower level or upper level while the adults were on the main level.
On a side note: Seriously. Who are these people who have 2nd million dollar homes in Eden, UT? Inquiring minds want to know.
This reunion was pretty chill. We mostly hung out in our comfies and chitty chatted while the children ran rampant throughout the house. We did have a talent show. Kurt and the boys performed a song from Oh Brother, Where Art Thou. Here's a short clip of the highlights of the song.
I love how the boys are so off key. They were supposed to get into their parts with a little bit of clappin' and foot tappin' but they must have gotten stage fright. Luckily Owen came through and did a little jig. Kurt recently learned how to pick this song on his guitar. To date he says that it is one of the hardest songs that he's learned to play.
I only managed to get three pictures the whole time we were there.

A couple of years ago, Kurt came up with the idea of the Family Fund. Each month every family contributes what they can to the Family Fund. There are 8 kids in Kurt family and with his parents the fund grows rapidly. Most donate $25 each month. Because of this fund we are able to go different places and rent cabins or homes to hold our reunions without the stress of having to come up with the money to pay for our portion. It also pays for food. It's pretty sweet!
