We stayed at the Zermatt Resort, a quaint little Swiss like resort tucked away in Midway, UT.
This was all made possible, thanks to Lisa who took all of the boys (except Eli) overnight.
Eli got to hang out with us.
It was a very needed, relaxing trip. We rolled in around dinner time. After we checked in, we ate at a restaurant called the Dancing Bear where our waiter's name was Gater. I wanted my steak well done, but he told me it would take all night to cook it, and that I should try it medium well. It reaffirmed why I like my food almost burnt to a crisp.
After we ate, we hit up the pool. It was enjoyable for the 15 minutes we were in it. Little Human was tired and cranky so we didn't stay long.

....I took advantage of the robes that came with the room.
....and snacked on chocolate covered cinnamon bears and peanut m&m's.
The next day we went and fed the goats. Yes, they have goats on the property.
While Kurt sent me off to the spa for a pedicure,
He and Eli went for a walk, packed up the car and hung out in our room. We then went to Heber City and ate at KFC for lunch before heading to Lisa's house to pick up the boys.
When we picked up the boys, they were under strict instruction from Lisa that if they had fun they would be in serious trouble. So from the sounds of it, they had an "AWFUL" time while staying at her house.
When we got home, we discovered that we had no milk. We had to put Eli to bed with a bottle full of Sunny D. And for breakfast, we had to have poptarts. Bleh.
A small price to pay for a fantastic overnight trip.

Chocolate covered cinnamon bears are highly underrated. That's hilarious you had to give him Sunny D to fall asleep. I'm so glad you guys got to get away...how fun! You are a great mom, Happy Mother's Day to you!
