A baby story

It's Time-
Friday afternoon I had just starting feeling better after my stint with the flu. That night I fell asleep on the couch as I was tending to Gavin who just couldn't "GET IT IN THE BOWL".

At 5 am I awoke with a stinging pain in my stomach. Or a contraction. Usually after I get up and move around they go away. But not this time. I woke Kurt and told him that we need to goto the hospital and we need to go now. I was worried that my water was going to break. The last time it broke at home, 21 minutes later I was holding Owen in my arms. I didn't want to chance having a baby in the car on the I-15.

We left the kids sleeping and headed for the hospital. Well, 2 of the kids sleeping. Isaac, he was in and out of sleep-puking. On the way, the contractions were really coming strong. While en route, I called the hospital to warn them of my situation and to get the anesthesiologist ready to go. We got there at about 5:30, and they immediately got me to my room and got things going. I was dilated to a 7 upon arrival! Things were moving fast. About 20 minutes after arriving, I got my epidural and things were dandy. It was a waiting game. Things couldn't have gone any smoother. The epidural made all the difference. 2 1/2 hours later, our little guy was born. The little dude weighed in at 7 lbs. 12 oz. & was 21 inches long. At this point, we still don't have a name.
