A Memorable Day

Kurt got up as usual to play ball at 6 a.m. This time Isaac wanted to go, so he let him trail behind. Isaac surprised everyone when he pulled one over on the Bishop. He passed the ball through the Bishop's legs, went and retrieved his own pass, shot it up, and made it. It must have been those new shoes he got for his birthday. He says they make him run faster.

After playing ball, Kurt took the boys hiking-cuz that's what you do on Memorial Day. A couple of other guys from the ward and their kids joined in. The women, including me, opted to stay home.

I set out to make bread, cinnamon rolls, and pizza for the day. All from scratch, I might add. Turned out to be a success! Yumminess all around.

Later that day, The kids had their own agenda of playing spy guys with the neighborhood. It turned out to be a nice relaxing day. We retired with watching a movie.
