My new love

I'm not one to venture out when it comes to food. I tend to get same thing at whatever restaraunt I'm at. If I'm at Johnny Carino's, I'll be eating the chicken fettucini alfredo. If I'm at Bajio, I'll be eating the flauta salad. If I'm at PF Changs, it's lettuce wraps and crispy honey chicken with brown rice. It's a comfort thing. Knowing that I've already tried it and like it. It's reliable and and something I know will not let me down. There is nothing more that I dislike than trying a new dish and not liking it. Mostly because it's a money issue. I would rather spend my money on something I know I will enjoy than take the risk.

The other day on our hot date, Mr. Hepworth and I went to the Cheesecake Factory. I stepped out of my food comfort zone and opted for the chicken salad sandwich with cream of mushroom soup with chicken and a house salad instead of getting my usual cobb salad or fettuccine. It wasn't bad, not that great. For dessert I alway get my favorite-plain cheesecake, no whipped cream.

Boring? No, classic!
But this time, I ventured out and tried the White Chocolate Carmel Macadamia Nut Cheesecake. Let me tell you-never has my mouth tasted a cheesecake that was so delectable. It is a white chocolate cheesecake, and has white chocolate chunks along with macadamia nuts on top drizzled with carmel, and has a blond brownie crust. Seriously YUM! Really, is there anything better? If so, do tell.

I am happy to inform all of my loyal readers and any of you lurkers out there-

July 30th is National

Cheesecake Day!

AND

The Cheesecake Factory is selling

slices of cheesecake for $1.50 per dine in guest. (Dine in so as to not run out of cheesecake.)

You may want to call your local CF to make sure they are doing this promotion. The one in Murray by the Fashion Place Mall is. I say just go in and just order dessert, try the White Chocolate Macademia Mountain of Love-It will totally be worth it!

You're Welcome.

I'm so jealous, I love the Cheesecake Factory but we don't have one here. There Apple Crumble Cheesecake is to die for.

I think we're just going to pay for parking at the airport so that we don't have to make everyone cart us around. Thanx tho

Thanks for the tip. At that price I should get at least three slices. :)
