"The Poster"
Last weekend Kurt attended an optometry confrence in Las Vegas. While there he had the privelege of presenting the poster that he made. It stands 6 foot by 3 foot. His poster is the result of many research hours. The subject, The Treatments and Associated Systemic and Ocular Conditions of Keratoconus. For a good explaination of what that is, you will have to ask him. I do know that it has to do with the shape of your eye "coning" instead of being flat and spherical. Kurt researched and presented his poster at this conference as part of a requirement for becoming a Fellow, the highest rank of an optometrist. He is not quite there but should be by the end of his residency in 6 months.

OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!! What a HUGE accomplishment, you both should be proud of yourselves!! Way to go Kurt! Did you get to keep the poster?? You should ask for them to send you one, you can always use that in an office one day!! I can't wait to tell Brian. I can't believe you only have 6 more months!! Yipee, then the fun begins! We miss you guys and are proud of you Kurt!

Thanks Courtney!
We did not get to keep the poster! We are so mad!!! The last day of the conference (the last hours) someone took it down, (probably a janitor-the moveable wall that it was on was needed) and now no one knows where it's at. (Probably in the garbage.)
We are not happy.
When I grow up I want to be as cool as you guys. Way to go, now get busy finding a job! In Utah! ;)
I am proud of you little buddy!
I am very impressed! Who would have ever thought Kurt would turn out so great-just kidding!
