As we sat watching the Top 100 Guiness World Record Holder's on t.v. (yesterday) it was there that we learned the news of our Prophet Gordon B. Hinckley. A breaking news report interrupted the program to report on the event. I found the news to be....happy news. A little sad, but happy. He was such a great man who did so many wonderful things. I couldn't help but smile a little at the fact that he was returning home an honorable man; to his Maker, his Wife, and other loved ones. He will be missed and General Conference will not be the same without him.
It was just hours before hearing the news of President Hinckley that I got the call from Kurt as he was travelling home from Las Vegas. He told me that his Grandma Pearl had passed away. She too was a great woman. She was 95 years old. She had 10 children, 70 grandchildren, and 123 great grandchildren. She was remarkable, and leaves a great legacy behind.
As we were sitting there just after hearing about the prophet Kurt says, "I wander if he and Grandma were on the same escalator".

Hepworth Family,

I am sorry for the losses you have faced this week. I know they both meant a lot to you and we will be thinking of you!
