{Halloween In St. George, UT}

We did our annual get together with the Kaaiakamanu's, the Hillman's, and the Parker's a little early this year.  We decided to go the luxury route away from camping and cabins and rent a condo and go where it wasn't snowing.  St. George it was!  The weather was great for the most part.  We hiked Canaraville Falls.  It was an awesome slot canyon just outside of St. George.  All the kids were troopers as we hiked through water for the majority of the time.  And it was FREEZING!

 

The boys brought their bikes and did some biking.  We also went down in the lava tubes, broke open glow sticks and played hide and seek. 

Since we were there for Halloween, we went trick or treating there.  The boys were a little disappointed as we got started late and they didn't get as much candy as they would have liked.  My favorite costume was Beth as Prince.

I love getting together with these people.  We never do anything adventurous until we get together with these guys.  Every time I find out just how chicken/wimpy I am, but always discover that I can do it!  Especially after seeing these kids plow through.  They are tough!

{Lake to Lake}

Kurt and some guys from our neighborhood teamed up and ran the Lake to Lake relay in St. George, UT.  It's a 50 mile relay race consisting of a team of 5 people, each person running 2 legs of 5 miles each. 


Here's Kurt on his last leg.  It was uphill and it was hot.  He was so glad when the guys drove by and gave him some water.

At the finish line.  Nick ran the last leg.  They all ran the last little bit with him across the finish line.  Except Nick was so focused on catching and passing a girl that he had been trailing, he just kept booking it and didn't notice that his teammates were trying to keep up with him so they could cross the finish line together.  Lol.
