Up and running

For the past week and a half we have been without the services of the Internet. I really didn't miss it as much as I thought I would; but it sure is nice to have it around when you need it.


We are officially moved into our new house. Which I LOVE by the way. Love the space, love that I can paint any wall I want to in any color that I choose, love that there are a bazillion neighbor kids the same ages as my kids......Don't love that my neighbor has a pit bull/rottweiler dog-that is trained to kill, seriously. Nope. I don't like that. Not at all. They moved from Compton (L.A.), and when you live there a dog that is trained to kill is a must. Moving here to the land of Zion, not so much.

Here are some of the neighbor kids that came with their parents to help us move out of our old house.

We played a few rounds of "Guess Which Box Gavin's In".

The move went pretty smooth. My parents came down and helped a ton. The worst part was that we had to go in and clean, paint, and take loads to the dump at the new house before we could move our stuff in. Needless to say, we are still painting and so we are still in boxes in some of the rooms.

My kids are all so different. When we told them we were going to be moving:

Isaac cried for a couple of hours. He didn't want to move away from his buddy Jace.

Owen was ready to move in an instant and wanted to know why we didn't do it sooner.

Gavin kept asking/keeps asking if we've moved yet.
