In our kitchen above our sink there some shelves that I have a vase sitting on. In my living room on our mantle is a metal canister that houses some dead, dry roses.

This morning as I was getting a drink, I looked up and I saw that someone had climbed up on the counter, filled the vase sitting on the shelf with water and stuck 3 of the 2 dozen roses from the canister that were on my mantle in the vase.

That's weird, I thought. The roses are already dead. Who and why would they put them in a vase full of water.

When I.P. got home from school, I asked him if he knew anything about them. He said, "I put them in there. I wanted to make them beautiful again."

Ahhhh, what a great kid! I haven't told him yet that they probably won't turn into beautiful roses. They are still in the water trying to become beautiful.

What a seetheart. I love these kids stories. They are so fun. Thanks Kanani, I don't feel very cute, but thats nice of you makes me feel better. My husband actually has always liked the name and he picked it. But I thought, "sweet I like that name too and Kade Krause is a pretty good namesake so it works perfect." Yep your on my list as well can't believe I haven't been blogging until just recently it is so fun.
