The Lights Went Out

So It's been a while since I've posted.

For some reason, I have had no desire to post anything. I have had no desire to stamp. I've had no desire to pay my bills. Being responsible is so unappealing. I have been slacking in the cooking department. We have eaten out more than ever the last couple of weeks. My house got really messy and then my parents came to town, so I did clean it. And the list goes on.......

The funny thing is, as depressing as the above statement sounds, I am not depressed. It's like I've just been taking a break on life. The lights have gone out, and I am taking a break. It's been kind of nice you know-taking a break.

You know I have had days/weeks/maybe even a moth where I felt and acted this same way. I just didn't care if laundry piled up or projects were left undone etc. And you know it was nice to just have a break. I some times think how nice it would be to be a kid again when you had little to no responsibilities and life was easy, ha, wouldn't that be nice.
Good for you, for taking a break. No judgment here, BEEN THERE!

Oooo, I know exactly how you feel! Every once in a while it is great to take a "break" on life! Good for you!

I too know how you feel. This time last year my Christmas cards would be done already, but we haven't even gotten our pictures yet. We moms deserve a break once in a while. Make sure to get some "Kanani time" in.

Yay, I'm not the only one!!!
Only my break has gone on too long... How long is too long before you clean your house?

Good for you...As a mom, you go, go, go non-stop. You deserve to take a break every now and then. The sad thing is when the breaks over, there's a million and one extra things that have to get done in order to catch up. Good luck with that! :)

This sounds tempting! Do I dare indulge? What if I never come back?

You deserve a break now and then. You are always doing something and you are making me look bad so knock it off.
Talk to me in January and February when I WILL be depressed and mad because its cold and wintery and mad cause I will want to go to some warm beach some where and I won't be able to.
It's the same thing every year. Maybe I'll be distracted because I will have a baby!
