When we go we always pack along treats in our bags (which is pretty much a given but it really helps). I also always advise people to eat at least on meal a day in the park. The food there is SOOOO good....and while it is kinda expensive it is about the same as anything you find out of the park. Also the strollers that you can rent there are so awesome. I would buy one if I could. I paid the 8 bucks and it was so worth it. They are light and easy to push (I sprung for the double last time) It is really super far for kids to walk the whole day...even the older ones. With those strollers they can jump in and out so fast and they can rest in them if they need.

Ask every worker you see for a fast pass until you get one. They don't just hand 'em out, but once you get your hands on one you are on easy street. You won't have to wait in any lines.

Ashley: Did you guys drive there? If so, how long did it take?

Megan: THanks for the tip. I need to do more research on the fast pass, and the kid/parent exchange or something like that.

A MUST DO is the Ridemax. Look it up, pay the money. It made all the difference when we went to Disneyland. It maps out your day with rides and breaks to show when the shortest lines are for the rides you want. It even utilizes the fastpass technology. We rode Buzz Lightyear 3 times in a row because the line was so short. We got every ride that we wanted, without rushing, and with time to spare.

Carrie: I remember you mentioning that is the way to go. Thanks!

Jedi Training, We're on it! I told the boys last night and it took them 15 mins. just to calm down. I guess you could say that they are beyond excited.

How fun for you. You deserve it after the last couple weeks you have had. How is your back? Will it be okay for all the walking you'll be doing?

My only advice is to bring the stroller whether you think the boys will use it or not. We took our double stroller and at some point in the day even the 7 year old was riding in the stroller. It's a long day but sooo fun! Can't wait to read up about the trip! :)

yeah we drove. It was a really easy drive. I think it was about 10hours from here. My advice on that is map questing directions from your hotel home because somehow my brother was lost in compton for 1 1/2 hours. My kids go on long car trips all the time...but this one was shorter than most and we watched disney movies the whole way there to get them all excited for the park.

Have fun!! I wish we could have been there. We have to stay within a 30 mile radius for the next 6 months. Brian is on his own at the office. Weekends have been CRAZY with eye emergencies. Miss you and look forward to seeing the pics. :)

Get there early, and always go for your #1 rides first. Also, start at the back of the park and go around to the left. Always go to the left. Most people are right handed and will automatically go to the right. Take a deep, meditative breath on Main Street USA. It is my favorite part of the park. I love the nostalgia. Plus, you will need some patience as you wade throught the throngs of people. Have a great time!
