Plentiful Day

Today has definitely been a day of plenty.

Side Track: As I look at and say the work plenty, isn't it a weird word? You know how some words are just weird if you think about them too much. This is one of those words.

Word must have got out that the Hepworth's were in dire need of food or something. We're not, but if people want to get rid of it, we'll gladly take it.

After church one of my neighbors brought over a bag full of plums. Then later that afternoon, two girls in our ward pedaled over with a bike trailer full of food. Like a ton of food. Steak, rolls, cheese, salad, celery, bananas, apples, carrots, and a boatload of those little milk cartons. You know the ones you got in grade school. The word is out that Kurt loves milk, so they hooked us up. (Appearantly, the girls' grandpa somehow had all this extra food from some thing or another.) And then as we were leaving to go on a family walk (which never happened, we got about 500 yards and 2 of our 3 kids were crying-so we called it quits) our other neighbor comes over with a bag full of nectarines. Seriously, how awesome is that!? We have great neighbors.

That's it. I'm moving! Your neighborhood offered more than ours this week. I only peaches and plums.

There are lots of houses for sale over here.... We could be neighbors, and I would bring you bounty.

In all my excitement over your bounty I left out words. I meant to say I only received peaches and plums.
I'll talk to Mitch about the move and see if he is up for it.

Our neighborhood is odd that way. I had some drop off on Sunday too (what am I going to do with that VERY large bag of salad? I am single) But we have had fresh produce all summer. You better believe I do not plant a garden for this reason!!

I didn't technically get the food, but I did make sure you got some. You lucky people you! How DOES it feel to be friends with the woman who can "get things"?

I would be soooooooo popular if I was in prison....
