A Kaaiakamanu Get-Together

This is a first for the Kaaiakamanu Family. (For those of you who don't know, yes that really was my maiden name.) Now that we have all gone our separate ways and all have children of our own, we had our first annual Kaaiakamanu Family Reunion. We spent four days in Island Park and the surroundings therein. We enjoyed a bit of the country western culture by going to the Bar J Ranch in Jackson, and a rodeo/bbq in Island Park. (Hoping to get footage of the great cow chase uploaded soon.) We did the yellowstone thing, ate pizza at the Wild West Pizzeria, and fed the fish at Big Springs. There were many board games and cards, entertainment from the little ones, and visiting that took place. Over all, I would say that this was a great success and great time was had by all.

Aloha, I've been doing a ton of research on my ancestral background and come to find out my great great grandmother was a Kaaiakamanu, which she recieved from her father (David Kaluna Kaaiakamanu born 3/1885 circa). I am most interested in continuing my genealogy and would love to help you out as well once I get to your point lol. What was your grandfathers first name? Do you anymore of that side? email me when you have the chance. Aloha! PohaiKapena Vincent ( pohaikapena@gmail.com )
